History

Elsta was established in 1988 as a three-person electrical company. The name is an acronym consisting of the beginnings of the words “electrics” and the last name of its founder – Jacek Stankiewicz. Right from the start, Elsta has been a family business built on responsibility and partnership, values it constantly wins the trust of customers with.

In the beginning, Elsta was carrying out electrical assembly and control measurement works of electrical equipment. In 1992, the company expanded its offer including manufacturing electronical equipment for mining within its scope, a field that would later – in 2012 – be taken over by a separate company, Elsta Elektronika.

During that same time, the Elsta team was consistently expanding its offer and performing design works and electrical assembly services for low and medium voltages. In 2002, it started completing comprehensive “turnkey” projects for power industry.

Dynamic growth, expansion to foreign markets and the increase of revenue caused some changes in the company’s structure. Elsta, with its headquarters in Poland, the UK and Sweden offers complex services in the fields of electrical installation and industry automation mainly for the energy, environment protection, metallurgy and mining sectors. Elsta Elektronika offers advanced electronic solutions for industry, mainly explosion hazardous areas (mining or petrochemical industry).

Thanks to consistently implemented strategy and the commitment of our employees, Elsta has become a modern competitive company providing comprehensive solutions on the demanding European and global markets.
